The hard work began to pay off in November. The single-step site was
listed in the
langalist newsletter. We received
thousands of visits and our newsletter subscriptions surged 2000%! The
feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, including responses from
people looking for daily motivation and people assisting troubled youths.
October 1, 2003
In October, we revised the single-step content based on feedback from our
readers. We improved navigation and flow to encourage people to work
through the text and ideas. We also created the single-step newsletter to
provide monthly encouragement for our readers.
August 22, 2003
We added a content website,
www.single-step.com, to showcase our
ideas in a more visual format. The site was targeted at a larger audience
and was intended to provide inspiration as needed for our readers.
August 15, 2003
In August, we released our first web content. While the reactions we
received were positive, we learned that we needed to clarify and simplify our
message.
July 23, 2003
After a full year of research, we founded Self Evident Enterprises in Maryland,
USA with the goal of creating software for people rather than business.
